Phi Lamp

To create a beautiful light is the aim of the Phi Lamp. When we talk about beautiful light in nature that immerses the surroundings into either a gleaming light, a dusky red or deep blue, we talk about the light that is being reflected from various surfaces, not the light source itself. From this consideration the idea emerged to create a large reflecting surface that bounces the light from the source into the room.

Through the shade’s distinct geometry, the light is being reflected in a wide beam. Depending on the viewing angle and the space in which the lamp is installed, new constellations of reflections of the space and the light are created.
